ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR BACHELOR AND MASTER PROGRAMMES
OCTOBER 2024 INTAKE

STEP 1. Until 30 April 2024 candidates are required to:

  • register in the IRK system, 
  • upload in the IRK system their foreign document of education, i.e. secondary school certificate (candidates for bachelor programmes) or bachelor degree diploma with official academic transcript (candidates for master programmes) for verification (original language version with English translation). Each document will be verified by the Faculty resposibible for the study programme to asses whether it entitles its holder to be admitted for a given programme, 
  • pay the registration fee.

STEP 2. Candidates for master programmes reffered to a qualification test will be required to take it in accordance with the established rules (all interested persons will be properly notified).

STEP 3. On 10 May 2024 University will publish in the IRK system the list of candidates who met the requirements and have been qualified for admission to a chosen programme. Qualification does not mean admission to studies.

STEP 4. Candidates qualified for admission (whose documents of education will be positively verified and have paid the registration fee) must submit in the IRK system all required documents in the given time period according the the application schedule.

STEP 5. Based on the number of candidates who met the admission requirements (i.e. have been qualified and submitted all documents) the Faculty responsible for the study programme will decide if the programme will be open.

STEP 6. Candidates admitted for studies will be notified according to the schedule - information will be available in the personal account in the IRK system.

STEP 7. Following the confirmation of admission documents confirming admission (letter of acceptance, confirmation of accommodation in a student house) will be issued and send to intrested persons within 2 weeks from announcement of the admission results.

 

In the event that the number of candidates qualified for admission does not exhaust the planned limit of enrollment in particular majors and forms of study, another round of recruitment will be announced by a separate announcement of the Rector.

 

Important note: The West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin reserves the right not to start a particular study programme, specialization or form of study in case of too few candidates meeting the conditions of admission.
