how to get around the city

Public transport

Moving around Szczecin is facilitated by public transport in the form of many trams and buses connections. Students with a valid student ID card benefit from a 50% discount on public transport.

Current timetables are available at all stops and on the website of the Road and Public Transport Administration - ZDiTM (http://www.zditm.szczecin.pl/).

Tram lines are numbered from 1 to 12.

Regular bus lines are marked with numbers from 51 to 124.

Fast bus lines are marked with letters A-G per day.

Night bus lines are marked with numbers from 521 to 536.

Tickets are available at every kiosk and directly at the ticket offices of ZDiTM. Ticket machines located at bus stops and public transport vehicles are also available.

Remember!!! Tickets sold in ticket machines in vehicles are validated. Tickets purchased in kiosks or stationary ticket machines should be validated immediately after entering the vehicle.

Stationary ticket machines offer the following functions:

- reloading of season tickets,

- purchase and reloading of SKA bearer cards,

- information about the card (last operations on the card, expiry date of season tickets),

- sale of one-off time tickets (tickets to be cancelled in the vehicle),

- Passenger information: timetable, ticket price list.

Ticket machines support payment by credit cards, coins, banknotes and e- purses.
